The 5 steps, in detail
1. Enter your FaucetPay email
Type the email attached to your FaucetPay account into the claim box on the
homepage. We check it against FaucetPay straight away, so if you mistype it
you'll know before you spend any time on the steps. Your address is stored
only as a one-way SHA-256 hash plus a masked display form like
ex***@m***.com — nobody,
including us, can read it back out of the database.

2. Prove you're human
A quick custom challenge — drag a puzzle tile, click shapes in order, slide a coin into a wallet, remember a set of symbols, or tap matching tiles. It rotates between five different types so it stays fresh. It takes a couple of seconds and it's the reason real people get paid more: it keeps automated scripts from draining the reward pool.
3. Visit a sponsor for a bonus
This is the biggest lever you have. Spend 8 seconds with one of our sponsors and we add 25% to your reward on the spot. Sponsors pay us for that attention, and we pass a share straight back to you. You can skip it if you're in a hurry — you'll still get your base reward.
4. Give our ads a few seconds
Our faucet is 100% free because of ads. We don't charge fees and we don't hold your crypto, so every satoshi we pay comes from ad revenue. A short timed pause here is what funds the next person's reward — and yours.
5. Confirm and get paid
Review the summary, hit confirm, and we call the FaucetPay payment API. You'll see a transaction ID and the reward lands in your wallet. 100% instant — no waiting, no holding, no threshold to reach first.
How we can afford to pay you
Transparently: advertising. When you view an ad or visit a sponsor, that partner pays us a small amount. We pool that revenue and pay it back out as rewards. It's community-funded, and it's why the reward range moves with demand — the more you support our sponsors, the more we can pay.
It's also why claiming asks you to disable an ad blocker. We don't ban anyone for using one; claiming is simply paused, because with no ads there's no revenue to pay from.
Fair use, in one paragraph
One claim per person per 5 minutes, checked by both email and IP. VPNs, proxies and datacenter IPs are blocked because they're overwhelmingly used for duplicate claiming. Three failed human-checks in a row triggers a 30-minute cool-off. None of this affects normal use — it just keeps the pool going to real people.
What we store about you
Very little, deliberately. A SHA-256 hash of your email, a masked version for display, an encrypted copy of your IP address for abuse prevention, your claim totals, and a referral code if you use one.
